As part of a well-rounded public education, ACHS provides educational athletic programs for grades 9-12. ACHS Athletic programs stress the importance of faith, character, and sportsmanship. When our students play football – or volleyball, or basketball – or run cross-country, their sport may be different, but their goal is the same. We will compete at a championship level and hold the highest character in sportsmanship.
Anderson County High School competes as a Class 4A school in Football, 3A in all other sports, and is a member of the Tennessee Secondary School Athletic Association TSSAA.
From the field to the court to the green, ACHS offers students a wide variety of arenas to excel in athletics.

“ It is not just about how many games we won, but it’s about the standard and the legacy and how we went about it. The goal was always to help our students create more value for their future, be the best players they could be and be more successful in life because they were part of the Anderson County Athletics Program”
